Rising from the ashes
Like the mystical bird Phoenix.
Today is a better day.
The warm yellow sunlight beaming
Down on my face as I go out to start my day.
I know that my troubles are still there in my heart,
But God has freed me from my prison and
I have a feeling that things are on the way of
Becoming better.
I feel like that God had handcrafted this day
As a special day for me.
For that I have risen from the ashes.
