In the bleakness of winter
Snow falling like down
Like a heavy rainstorm
Gale force wind blowing

Smoke rising from chimneys
Fires crackling with warmth
Lovers romancing with one another
Not caring what is going on in the world
For that tonight is for lovers and for lovers alone.

Lonely people sitting there
Lusting for romance in their lives
But are sadden since that nobody
Wants to be loved by them.
