Can you not see the light of day
Coming over the horizon.
Moonlight serenading by the
Willow tree
Dew glistening by the
Dawn's early light

Sleep overtakes thee
Peaceful dreams of happiness
Or no dreams,
But peaceful sleep

Mind at rest from
A hards day work
Or just simply resting
The mind.

Reading inner thoughts
People's Opinion
Plaguing the mind
With thoughts of depression
Or thoughts of happiness.

Wanting to be loved like others
But can not understand why some
People act the way they do
When you need them the most.

Sunlight brighter than God's presence
Rain drops falling like angels crying
Over the welcoming of a new angel

Thunderous silence prevails over
The land
People wanting to be heard
People speaking their minds more
In a world that is afraid to face truth.
