I wish that I could have been
In your dying moments
It hurts me
Like a thousand swords
Plundering, stabbing my
Heart until I can bleed
No more.
Now you lie below,
The fresh ground lays loose
Under the weight of the
Golden blue sky
Lost tears are shed
Over your final resting place.
Your whispered voice
Scattered against the icy hot,
Howling wind,
Blows
Like a mighty gale force wind on the
Ocean.
Making me wish you were still with me.
I wish that I could have been.
