Crossing the Distant night

Crossing the distant night through
The snow that covers the ground like a thick blanket,
The pale yellow orb that rules the night,
Moonlight shining down upon the land,
Time standing still like
History that has been forgotten,
There will come another day when history will
Become the present once again.

Shadows of the night flicker from the pale
Yellow moon,
Snow that is pure starts to fall,
For a moment it seems like an illusion.
Trees alive with feelings,
Their branches covered thick with snow.
An ominous glow from the pale yellow orb,
Signs of evil coming to ravage the land,
There is hope for the land
For that a hero will be awakened tonight.

For tonight a hero's dream is born,
In his burning heart with desire to rise above
And take what is his.
People sleeping forever in thoughts of greed,
Crossing the distant night through
Snow that covers the ground like a thick blanket.

A wanderer of time walks the land,
In search of the hero that will save the people of the land

  2. Love this. I stand outside at night a lot, staring up at the sky. Nothing compares. It really is like time standing still. Great work!
